Very patient with my child who felt anxious and needed to be told what was going on every step of the way. Dr. Hall is very thorough in explanations and approachable. The staff is super friendly and the space is very clean

I can’t express enough how amazing Dr. Hall and his staff are. My daughter had a traumatic experience at her last dentist a few months back and after only 1 visit she’s more comfortable than even before the trauma happened. Thank you for being so patient and understanding with her.

Dr. Hall and the team are great with kids! My kid got her first fillings in the molars today and they took great care of her. The whole process went smoothly with no tears involved!Another pleasant surprise was that Dr. Hall speaks Mandarin, which was very comforting for my almost two year old at her first dentist appointment last time.I'm so glad we found Sunray and would highly recommend!

Great experience. Took my daughter and found out she had two cavities. She was a bit scared cause she had some dental issues before, and the doctors were all great. Super nice, explained everything well, and helpful for kids.

I really love Sunray Pediatric Dentistry! They have the most friendly and helpful staff. Dr. Hall is pretty incredible with the kids - he has such a gentle approach while keeping the children, staff and doctor safe. I appreciate their responsiveness, helpfulness and of course, the prizes at the end of the visit.

Both of my kids started seeing Dr.Hall when they were one years old & we love them ! The environment is great , very clean & they are all very friendly . Dr. Hall continues to demonstrate an unrivaled proficiency for gently encouraging cooperation from a recalcitrant three year old. I cannot tell you how impressed I am by both Dr. Hall and his staff.Laura was proactive and incredibly helpful in working with me to resolve questions regarding dental insurance coverage. The hygienist was patient and persuasive, enabling us to obtain the desired x-rays. And the coup de grâce was Dr. Hall using the scaler to remove built up dental plaque, an exhibition of masterful bedside manner and an ability to inspire trust.I feel incredibly fortunate to have found this practice and I highly recommend it.

I can not thank this practice enough. My son had his first dental visit at 4 year old because of his sensory issues that caused him to panic if someone tried to touch his face. I was able to show him videos of other kids getting their teeth cleaned on Sunrays different social accounts. He went from being extremely nervous to curious. When we arrived at the practice, we were greeted by friendly front staff. The dental assistant took us back for X-rays and explained everything to my son in a way he would understand. She made sure it was fun and positive experience. They have tvs on the ceiling with movies playing. It’s so calm and relaxing in there. She showed him all the tools they would use on him and even let him play with them. For a child on the spectrum this is important. I was so shocked he let her clean his teeth. They had him hold a stuffed animal to busy his hands. The dentist came in after the cleaning. He was so nice and talked calmly with my son. It was such a positive experience. The front desk staff was so sweet. I can’t thank her enough. They all want to learn as much as they can about kids that need extra help (special needs) to better equip themselves.

The staff is all great.. Dr Hall is always honest, does not try to persuade you to do something you don’t want to. He will let you know the pros and cons of doing, or not doing something. Definitely recommend this group. My girls love the Dentist.. I know… crazy.

I am willing to travel from Downtown San Diego because we’ve always had positive experiences with this dental office. The dentist is friendly, informative and listens to his patients. We don’t feel rushed and have not had long waits to be seen. Most importantly, the entire staff is wonderful with my children!

Dr. Hall and his team are the BEST! My oldest is seasoned with getting her teeth cleaned, but my 3 year old was not in the best mood, and they were able to get her excited about x-rays! The entire team is personable and approachable, and both my girls are already so excited to go back.

Brought my almost 2 year old here and the dentist had a great set up and approach for handling a child that didn't want to cooperate. The dentist shared helpful information and had and a technique that will make brushing teeth easier at home too!

Dr. Hall is the best pediatric dentist I've ever met and really lives up to his commitment to providing minimally-invasive, gentle care for his young patients. His sensitivity, patience and clear communication also is a great comfort to parents.I visited Dr. Hall for a second opinion after my previous pediatric dentist recommended that my two year old get a root canal under general anesthesia. I was grateful to schedule a appt rather quickly and to have minimal time in the child-friendly waiting room before being seen.After a thorough assessment, including multiple caring staff helping my fidgety child to take X-rays, Dr. Hall recommended less invasive treatment. He took the time to explain how he arrived at his decision, laid out risks and benefits, and as a parent himself, affirmed that this is what he would choose if it were his own child.Throughout the procedure, Dr. Hall made sure I fully understand what was happening and checked in to make sure we were on the same page on how to support my child through it. He even texted afterwards to see how he was feeling.What became a second opinion quickly turned into what I expect will be a trusted long term relationship with Dr. Hall and his awesome and supportive staff for both by children.

Everyone at the office was so kind and patient with both my children. My son, who is on the spectrum, was given plenty of time to explore and be introduced to everything in the office. Dr. Hall had a very calm demeanor and explained options we have to get my little one acclimated to dentist visits to hopefully move towards exams, cleanings, etc. Even my 13 yr old commented on how nice everyone was and she felt it was an enjoyable visit.**update**We were able to get an exam done for my son! And I know he will be able to progress towards more with the help of the Sunray staff! If you are wanting a kind & patient dentist and staff AND high quality dental care, this is the right place!

Fantastic!! Sunday Pediatric Dentistry was recommended to me by a friend. All the staff is super nice and welcoming. Dr. Danny Hall has a great personal approach to every child, taking time to make sure kids feel comfortable and explaining what is going to happen. Both of my twin 3-year old daughters were a little anxious prior to the visit, but the experience was so great and they felt so proud and excited afterwards, that they were telling about their dentist visit everybody they met for the next few days. They cannot wait to come back for their next appointment.

We had a pediatric dental emergency over the weekend… Dr. Hall was expedient in responding and calmed my nerves. We were seen in office on Tuesday and given the situation… it was a GREAT experience. My three year old is raving about his trip today. We’ve set up appointments for both boys at their office moving forward. Excellent staff, clean office. Would give 10 stars!

It was my son's first trip to the dentist, and Dr. Hall and his staff were very accommodating to his specific needs. They made both my son and I feel as comfortable as you can be at the dentist. The practice does offer desensitization appointments, if your child needs more time to adjust to the process. I also found the practice to be very clean and felt taken care of. Dr. Hall was very friendly and professional. He made me feel included in decision-making when it came to which techniques would work best for my son during the appointment. I highly recommend Sunray Pediatric Dentistry.

Sunray Pediatric Dentistry is the best! We found their practice through mutual friends and we are so glad we did! They made a quick appointment for us to see our son at 12 months and then a follow up 6 months later. They showed us how to help brush his teeth and now it’s one of his favorite things to do! As a first time mom, it was also a great learning opportunity for me to ask questions about proper oral hygiene, which were thoroughly answered by Dr Hall. Many pediatrics suggest unnecessary treatment. Dr. Hall’s office recommends a watch and wait approach when appropriate and we (kids and pocketbook) appreciate that. Then, six months later, it was time to treat, so we did then and are very happy.
